What an Energy Assessment Can Do for You
-
Improve Indoor Air Quality
A home energy assessment helps reveal ventilation, sealing, and moisture control issues that can negatively impact the air you breathe. We help create a cleaner, healthier living environment for you and your family.
-
Safer & Healthier
Energy assessments can detect sources of dangerous gases such as gas leaks and carbon monoxide. Fixing these issues can prevent serious health hazards, giving you greater peace of mind.
-
Increase Energy Efficiency
Identify and eliminate hidden energy losses throughout your home. A tighter, better-performing building means you’ll use less energy to maintain comfortable temperatures, saving you money year-round.
-
Increase Home Durability
Homes that are properly sealed and insulated experience fewer moisture problems and structural issues over time. Protect your investment and avoid frequent, costly repairs.
-
Boost Home's Resale Value
Energy-efficient homes are more attractive to buyers and can command higher resale prices. Improving your home’s energy performance is an investment that pays off whether you stay or sell.
-
Save Money on Energy Bills
The average homeowner can save hundreds of dollars each year by making energy-efficient upgrades. Sealing air leaks, upgrading insulation, and improving HVAC efficiency dramatically cut monthly utility bills.
Program funding
Program funded by the energy-efficiency charge on all customers’ gas and electric bills, in
accordance with Rhode Island law.
Savings and support for landlords
A home energy assessment can reduce energy costs and enhance the value of your rental property. Incentives are available to help you make energy-efficient upgrades, along with resources to answer your questions and details on upcoming events.
